Prayer letter February/March 2010

Dear Friends,

We can only thank the Lord for His goodness. The Bibles given out, the souls saved, the people helped and His protection are only a few examples of His goodness to us these past two months.
As I write we are in need of more tracts as we gave all we had away to pastors. But we have to go to Texas to pick up more. We need prayer for our safety as the American Consulate here in Monterrey issued a warning about travel between Monterrey and McAllen, Texas and Laredo, Texas because of violence between the drug cartel and the police. These are the two borders that we cross and we would appreciate your prayers as we pray about when to go out to get more tracts.
We have passed out 1812 BEAMS Bibles so far this year. We pray we always have enough Bibles to send to the pastors that call or come by. What a blessing to those who contribute to this ministry so that the Gospel can continue to reach those who have yet to hear or see the Word of God. Romans 10:14
Praise the Lord Caleb’s cast is off his right arm and he is using his wrist fine. The doctor said it healed really well. Amen! We have been praying that he would heal well and be able to work with his arm again without any pain. He can now carry the boxes of Bibles which is a great help to me. Thank you Caleb. He can also play the trumpet again so we are beginning his classes with Hno. Miguel.
Thanks to all who have been praying about the property here that the Bible Institute sits upon. We are praying that it will all be resolved soon and it is looking good.
Yesterday while out soulwinning we walked to the end of a street to start knocking doors. We knocked about three doors when a little girl came down the street and asked us what we were doing. I gave her a gospel tract from our church and asked her where she lived. She pointed to a green house two doors down. We went to her house and her grandmother was sitting under the porch. My partner, Hna. Maria, began witnessing to the grandmother while I took out a tract that is written for children and read it to her. Anna is 6 years old and she was a very good listener as I explained her need to ask Jesus to save her. She accepted Christ as her Saviour and so did her grandmother. Praise the Lord. We have seen 9 saved while out soulwinning during Feb/March.
May I just say thank you to the many faithful churches and friends that have supported us for the last 12 years. March 4th, 12 years ago, Missionary Truitt Suhl went home to be with the Lord, but the faithfulness of the churches that have continued to support us even when some have changed pastors shows what kind of people are in your church. People that love the mission field. We couldn’t be here without you and we pray that much fruit may abound to your account. Thank you so much for your prayers, support, letters and gifts.
